YOUR YOGA Programme
A 40 day programme designed to create a habit. Designed so you are can discover your OWN yoga.
A practice of devotion and motivation for your self.
Each day there will be a short practice for you to follow. For the first 3 weeks this is about you getting into the habit of stepping on to your mat. In the 4th and 5th week, I will still be there guiding you, but there is much more room for you to explore the movement within your own body.
This is where you will start to develop your own practice. By being given space and freedom to move in your own way, you will discover YOUR YOGA. This programme has been designed for the yoga student that wants to create a daily practice for their soul. We will be building strong connections between the breath and body, tapping into intuitive movement and creating freedom within the body to release. We will not be focusing on alignment, or pose progression. If you are seeking a physical workout, then this programme is not for you.
However, when we release the attachment to a goal, the practice takes over in our bodies, and you end up by becoming stronger and more flexible without even realising it. Sadhana is a Sanskrit word which means a disciplined and dedicated practice. This is what we are aiming for. A daily practice that is for your energetic body. Sadhana is not a time to push and train the body. It is a practice of devotion to your self. The Guru inside. To your higher self. This being said; quite often, once I have completed or even half way through my sadhana, my body wants to play and train. This is the time to play, explore and practice those postures that you REALLY want to try. 🙂 Some days this might happen, some days it may not. Either way is ok. Its your body.

How to move with your breath
The Practice is entirely lead by breath. You will learn how to flow with it, and intuitively move your body with it.
To practice on your own
The whole idea of this programme is for you to develop the confidence to step on your mat, and practice your own style of yoga.
The primary breath I use is called Ujjayi. The most natural way to breathe. Whether we are pushing our bodies, calming ourselves, or falling asleep.
Through building your confidence up on the mat, you will find your confidence growing in other areas of your life too!
Through practicing yoga every day, you will naturally feel the benefits. Plus this is a practice of devotion to your self with a detachment to the outcome. This is for you, and only you.
All you need for this programme is your beautiful self, motivation and an open mind.
Plus the following:
- Space to move
- Yoga Mat (but not essential, Carpet is also fine!)
- Yoga Strap…. or a tie, a belt, piece of rope… anything to help with forward folds and binds.
- Yoga Blocks…or 2 really thick books!

Daily yoga videos
over the course of the 40 days, you will receive 8 yoga practices. designed to build you up so that by the end of it, you have enough confidence and mind food to nourish your body every day.
Learn by doing
This is an entirely practical course, that you can either so in its entirety in 40 days, or you can go at your own pace, and skip forward and back at your leisure.
Included within the price you can arrange 2 private classes with Ana X Chakora at any point during the programme.
Who this course is for
This course is for anyone who wants to develop a personal yoga practice. You will learn to practice yoga without a teacher.
I offer many variations, so anyone is able to give it a go. And with the 2 private sessions you will have the opportunity to explore even more options to help you discover YOUR YOGA.
