Introduction to 10 Days Meditation for Beginners Challenge

Welcome To the 10 Days Meditation for Beginners Course

Learn how to meditate in 10 days 30 minutes a day. Without any further guidance. You can learn online, at home, whenever you want.

I highly recommend following this challenge for 10 days without making a brake. To develop a new habit, it takes up to 21 days. Because you want to make it a habit, keep doing it day by day for at least these 21 days, if possible. If you can not meditate 30 minutes every day, do as much as you can. If it is just 5 minutes, it is better than nothing.

Please bring a friend

Practising meditation alone is way more complicated than practising with a friend, family member or your partner. The reason is, that it is helping up our motivation and we are more focused and also supported by the presence of another practitioner.

Please be patient

Every new skill you learn needs practice. Every new skill will cost you effort. Persistence and regularity will make your practice comfortable. There are many things to master: How to sit, how to breathe, how to relax, how to use the mind, how to concentrate. NO WORRIES! You just started your journey and it may long time to be perfect, but if you never try, if you give up, you will never learn it. And be sure! You can learn everything! It is just a matter of lifetime you are investing in the practice of a new skill. If you invest enough lifetime, then this new skill will become naturally for you.

Imagine you want to learn how to play the guitar. It is a lot of pain and struggles in the beginning, and you don’t get a nice sound out of it in the beginning. But if you keep practising all of it will change. No more pain, no more struggles, and it feels naturally for you to play the guitar. It may take its time, but one day you will be there. So take it easy. Go step-by-step.

Some additional tips

You will need at least 30 minutes for each lesson. In the first 2 lessons, the meditations are integrated. After the 3rd lesson you have a new guided meditation. In the beginning guided meditations helping you, to build up concentration, focus, and they will calm your mind. Follow the guided meditations for 1 or 2 days, until you receive the next in a lesson. Then use the next one.

There are hundreds of meditation techniques, and you will try out several ones. After the course, stick to the one, in which you can keep your concentration up the best.

Use your breath. The breath is the only body function that we can influence, and it is always there. Keep using it with every practice. Try always to be aware of the breath.

Have fun! Don’t judge yourself, if you are not good.

It is one of the most beneficial practices to feel good on the inside. Don’t judge yourself, blame yourself, or criticize yourself. It all needs practice and there is no one born as a master. Enjoy the time you take for yourself, and be curious about what it will bring up.

Thank you!

I appreciate so much, that I am able to share the most important practice in my life with you, and all the things I learned about it. It is a wonderful, yet sometimes intense journey to a peaceful and calm life.

Please excuse me!

One last word. This is my first video course, and especially in the beginning, I was not used to recording myself on video. But from the video: The Mind, it got better and better! I try not to be to over-perfectionist, otherwise, I would never be able to share this knowledge with you. I am living in a small house in Ubud, Bali, and everyday-life is happening around me, birds, wind in the leaves, scooters, people…please don’t mind these background noises.

Have a great time!
